The Professional Fumigation process is carried out in different ways
- When agricultural produce is ready for shipment, we cover the cargo with tarpaulins and fumigate them with Methyl Bromide gas and keep it for soaking for minimum 48 hours before packing the cargo into gunny bags to ensure the produce is insect free.
- In the meantime, empty container also called for loading the cargo and empty container also fumigated with Methyl Bromide gas to ensure that the container also hygienic for loading the agricultural produce. Then the produce is weighed and packed in gunny bags and loaded into the insect free container.
- It is pertinent to mention that the infection of weevils is air borne process and we need take every step to avoid infection. After loading the cargo into the container leaving space for gas circulation, FCL container is fumigated with MBR to ensure further infection is avoided during storage of cargo in the container freight station or in the port of loading.
